Order (Polynomial)

The highest order Power in a one-variable Polynomial is known as its order (or sometimes its Degree). For example, the Polynomial

\begin{displaymath}
a_n x^n+\ldots+a_2 x^2+a_1 x+a_0
\end{displaymath}

is of order $n$.
