A Determinant appearing in Padé Approximant identities:

$$C_{r/s} =\left\vert\matrix{ a_{r-s+1} & a_{r-s+2} & \cdots ... ... \vdots\cr a_r & a_{r+1} & \cdots & a_{r+s-1}\cr}\right\vert.$$
