Laisant's Recurrence Formula

The Recurrence Relation

$$(n-1)A_{n+1}=(n^2-1)A_n+(n+1)A_{n-1}+4(-1)^n$$

with $A(1)=A(2)=1$ which solves the Married Couples Problem.
