Flat Norm

The flat norm on a Current is defined by

\begin{displaymath}
{\mathcal F}(S)=\int\{{\rm Area\ }T+{\rm vol\ }R:S-T=\partial R\},
\end{displaymath}

where $\partial R$ is the boundary of $R$.
