Historical Note
The Office of Volunteer Programs was created in 1967 by the Board of Trustees as a result of student volunteer activity on campus like the Student Educational Corps. In 1979 the name changed to the Center for Service Learning. The center has reported to the Career Services and Placement office as well as the Vice president for Student Affairs.
