Historical Note
The Michigan Agricultural College Cooperative Book Buying Association was organized by economics professor W.O. Hedrick in December 1896. The purpose of this group was to furnish students, faculty and alumni with textbooks and other books at reduced rates.
Scope and Contents note
The collection includes minutes from regular meetings of the Association and the Board of Directors of the M.A.C. Cooperative Book Buying Association, a copy of the 1898 constitution, by-laws, correspondence, and financial records.
