Historical Note
The Office of China Programs was established in July 2005 to implement President Lou Anna K. Simon’s China Initiatives. The office aims to build strategic partnerships with key Chinese research and educational institutions; increase Michigan State University’s visibility through launching transformative projects and programs in China; expand on–campus commitment and capacity for China programs; and build cultural, economic and civic bridges between China and the State of Michigan.
