Biographical Note
Anton Lang was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1913. He earned his Doctor of Natural Sciences in 1939 from the University of Berlin. In 1965 he came to Michigan State University as a professor of botany and plant pathology as well as serving as the director of the Plant Research Laboratory. Lang retired in 1983, and passed away on June 24, 1996.
Scope and Contents note
This collection includes the report, The Effects of Herbicides in South Vietnam. It was created by the Committee on the Effects of Herbicide in Vietnam of the National Academy of Sciences. Anton Lang served as chairman of the committee.
