Biographical Note

Harold Sadoff received a B.S. in chemical engineering at the University of Minnesota. He worked for several years as a research chemical engineer for the International Milling Company. Sadoff went on to earn his M.S. in bacteriology and Ph.D. in bacteriology-biochemistry from the University of Illinois. He joined the faculty in the Department of Micobiology and Public Health at Michigan State University in 1955 and became a full professor in 1965. Sadoff passed away in 2014.

Scope and Contents note

The collection contains a copy of a three-page paper written by Harold Sadoff, describing the conditions on the Michigan State University campus and the people he met when he arrived for a job interview in the mid-1950s.
