Biographical Note
Philipp Gerhardt is a former chairperson on the Michigan State University Department of Microbiology and Public Health. Gerhardt was also an associate dean for research and graduate studies in the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a copy of a summary written by Gerhardt recalling the changes in the Department of Microbiology and Public Health from 1965 to 1975.
