Historical Note
In 1926, the Medical Biology Course was established to train students to use scientific laboratory methods to assist the medical profession in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. In 1944, the name changed to the Medical Technology Program.
In 2008, the program again changed its name to the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program. This change included expanding the program to a broader spectrum of disciplines and aligned the program with the needs of the healthcare industry and professional organizations.
Scope and Contents note
The collection consists of an informational brochure and a newsletter.
Annual Reports are stored separately for 1961 – 1963, 1965 – 1969, and 1971. These reports contain information on enrollment, curriculum and general plans and activities of the program.
