Historical Note
The Office of Medical Education Research and Development (OMERAD) was established in 1966 as a unit of the College of Human Medicine. Its mission is to improve medical education and related service programs through evaluation and research, consultation, relevant instruction, and programs of faculty development. OMERAD is the oldest continuously operated office of medical education in the United States.
Scope and Contents note
This record group consists of annual reports (1967 – 1969) and publications of the Office of Medical Research and Development (OMERAD). The reports contain information on staff, publications, activities, and research. Publications consist of brochures, newsletters and a paper by Dr. Donald Gragg.
