Historical Note
During its period of operations (1962-1981), the Biophysics Department was administered jointly by the Colleges of Natural Science and Human Medicine.
Scope and Contents note
This collection consists of a report, titled “Information about the Biophysics Department at Michigan State University,” which details areas of graduate study and research in the department. A second document is a proposal from the department to the National Science Foundation for funds necessary to aid in the Biophysics Institute construction. Annual reports for 1962-1968 are also included.
