Historical Note
Department of Religious Education first appeared in college catalog in 1923. This was changed to the Department of Religion in 1948 (under the Division of Social Science) and then Department of Religious Studies in 1973.
Scope and Contents note
The collection consists of a departmental brochure, course listings for spring 1958, syllabi and reading lists for classes 307 – 309, and annual reports (1957, 1959 – 1963, 1965 – 1969).
