Historical Note
The Michigan State University College of Law is a private law school that has been affiliated with MSU since 1995. The College was established in 1891 as the Detroit College of Law. It was the second law school in the state of Michigan. In 1997 the College was relocated from Detroit to East Lansing. The Law College Building was dedicated in 1998.
