Historical Note
The band was started around 1875 and then became part of the military department when it was formed in 1884. It then became know as the cadet band. The military band gave concerts, played at military functions, football games, and social events. The band later became the marching band that exists today.
Scope and Content
The records of the Military Band consist of two concert programs: a Sacred concert (1915) and a Community Concert (1917).
