Historical Note
The M.S.C Chemistry Club was formed in 1925 by a group of graduate students and first met in 1926. In 1927, the name was changed to Chi Rho, a local chemistry honor society. In 1928, they were accepted as the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of the national professional chemical fraternity, Alpha Chi Sigma.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of a booklet, "A Petition from Chi Rho", 1928, published by Chi Rho fraternity at Michigan State College (now Michigan State University.)
