Biographical Note
Sidney S. Sessions was born in 1839 and died in 1906. He was a nephew of Alonzo Sessions, a Michigan Representative who later became lieutenant governor. Sessions was a member of one of the two lyceums on campus, the first student organizations at MAC. He did not earn a degree from MAC.
Scope and Contents note
Six letters from Sessions to his cousins, Mary Elizabeth and Herbert Lockwood Yates, of Ionia, Michigan. The letters concern campus life at MAC and happenings at home.
