Biographical/Historical

Ford Peabody (1894-1963) was a native of Birmingham, Michigan. He earned his B.S. from Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) in 1916 where he studied agriculture. During his college years, he was a member of the Farmers' Club, the Dairy Seminar, the Cap Night Committee, and played the cornet in the M.A.C. Military Band. He was a veteran of World War I. He worked as an accountant for General Motors Truck Corporation in Pontiac. His son, Frank Peabody, also was a graduate of Michigan State and spent his career teaching at their alma mater.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of a scrapbook, class notes, newspapers, publications, posters, and ephemera from Ford Peabody's time as an undergraduate student at Michigan Agricultural College.
