Biographical Note
Lawrence Cawood Walker was born October 13, 1911 in Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) in 1934 with a degree in Applied Acience. He remained at MSC for the 1934-1935 school year as a fellow in Chemistry. Evelyn Lucile McCue was born on November 8, 1911 in Michigan. She graduated from MSC in 1935 with a degree in Home Economics. They married on August 8, 1936 in St. Clair, Michgian. Lawrence passed away on October 9, 1986 in San Diego, California. Evelyn passed away on September 10, 2003 in San Diego.
Scope and Contents note
The collection consists of a cartoon-style drawing of a Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) campus map by Dave Ruhe. Written on the map is "supplement to 1935 Wolverine." The map was owned by Lawrence C. and Evelyn Lucile Walker. The map was placed on a wooden board and sealed with varnish.
