Biographical Note
Charles Hulbert Alvord earned his B.S. degree in Agriculture from Michigan Agricultural College in 1895, and his Master's degree in Agriculture in 1910. He later moved to San Marcos, Texas.
Scope and Contents note
The Charles Alvord scrapbook primarily contains photographs of Alvord's family and friends, scenes of Adrian, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; Lake Michigan; Ohio; and Texas (1894-1901). Also included are photographs of Michigan Agricultural College dorm rooms and the campus.
