Biographical Note
Ruth E. Carrel (Mrs. Thomas W. Mason), of Big Rapids, Michigan, earned a B.S. degree in Home Economics from Michigan Agricultural College in 1908. She taught at M.A.C. during the 1908-1909 school year. After she married Thomas Mason, she moved to State College, Pennsylvania.
Scope and Contents note
Papers of Ruth E. Carrel consist of one scrapbook containing programs for Sororian Literary Society (Kappa Phi Zeta) functions and other college activities, photographs, news clippings, athletic schedules, campus regulations, letters, and tickets.
