Biography
William H. Draper was a Freshman at Michigan Agricultural College in 1880. He was known by his friends as Henry Draper and was from Mears, Ocena County. He is not listed in subsequent years at M.A.C. His first roommate in Wells Hall was William McGaw of Paw Paw in Van Buren County and his second roommate was Clarence Gillett of Maple in Ionia County.
Scope and Contents note
Collection consists of a copy of a letter from Henry Draper to his friend Mr. Littlefield and "the rest of my Whitehall home". In his letter he describes his experience with the measles. [Note: Donor has the original copy of the letter].
