Historical Note
The Republican Spy was a weekly newspaper published from 1803-1808, first in Springfield, Massachusetts (1803 - mid-1804) and then in Northampton, Massachusetts (July 3, 1804 - November 16, 1808). Timothy Ashley (1775-1842) was the publisher.
