Eli Love was born in Michigan around 1857 to Thomas and Harriett Love. According to the 1870 Federal Census, Eli, his parents and 2 younger brothers, Orzo and Gilbert, were living in Three Oaks, Berrien County, Michigan. (Information retrieved from Ancestry.com Library Edition on January 8, 2014)
