Scope and Contents note

This collection consists of deeds and receipts of John Shaw of Lenawee County, Michigan. Also included is a Civil War letter describing battles around Richmond, Virginia, a letter licensing Shaw as a minister of the Christian Church of Adrian and Rome, Michigan (1867).
