Biographical/Historical
Peter Ash was born in Pennsylvania in 1808. His wife, Lucinda Show Ash, was also born in Pennsylvania around 1823. They were married in 1838 and lived in Ohio with their children, Caroline, Jackson and Henry. Peter died in 1892 and is buried in Galien, Berrien Township, Michigan.
Scope and Contents note
This collection consists of two pages from a family bible recording births, marriages, and deaths in the family of Peter and Lucinda Ash. Other family names mentioned include Show, Kridler, and Davis.
