Scope and Contents note

This collection consists of a copy of a book prepared by the staff and students of the Marble Elementary School in East Lansing, Michigan that was placed in a time capsule as a Bicentennial project. The book gives a brief history and description of the school. It also contains class schedules, and students' descriptions of classes and special events. An issue of the Marble School Newsletter is included, as well as lists of the staff members and the student body. Sections of the book focus on the school's special features, such as art, speech and language therapy, and the Teacher Improvement Project.
