Biographical/Historical
Andrew Henry Hunt (1819-1905) was an early settler of Ingham Township, Ingham County, Michigan. He was originally from New York State. He and his wife, Mary Gilmore, left New York for Michigan a few days after their wedding in April 1846. They eventually had six children. In Hunt's obituary published in the Ingham County Democrat, it is stated that he was "the last of the early settlers on the Mason and Dexter road," a "firm believer in its doctrine [Spiritualism]" and a member of the Masons.
