Biographical Note
A longtime reporter for the Detroit News, Judson Grenell was involved in socialist activities, labor reform, and the Greenback movement. Elected to the Michigan legislature in 1886 as a Labor-Republican candidate, he sponsored many reform measures.
Scope and Contents note
This typewritten autobiography contains discussions of numerous social, political, and economic issues connected with Grennell's newspaper, the Detroit News, and legislative activities. A microfilm copy of the collection is available.
