Angular Velocity

The angular velocity $\boldsymbol{\omega}$ is the time Derivative of the Angular Distance $\theta$ with direction $\hat {\bf z}$ Perpendicular to the plane of angular motion,

$$\boldsymbol{\omega}\equiv {d\theta\over dt} \hat{\bf z}={{\bf v}\over r}.$$
