McKeever, Harriet Burn (28 August, 1807 - 7 February 1886) Little Red Cloak (1866)

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, McKeever was a teacher in her native city for more than thirty-six years. She produced forty volumes of Sunday School Books in the thirteen years proceeding her death in Chester, Pennsylvania (Wilson 129). Among these are Nothing but Leaves, Edith's Ministry, The Old Chateau, and Crown Jewels (Adams 242). She is also the author of a book of poetry, Twilight Musings and other Poems which includes a commendatory preface by Rev. William B. Stevens D.D (Philadelphia, 1857).
